These stones were set up as a challenge in 2017 and have had many attempts to lift them from people around the globe. In those we’ve had one successful female lift.
The Challenge for males is to shoulder the ***“Chieftain stone”*** in order to receive a commemorative challenge coin. Females have to shoulder the ***“Wee Lass”***. No tacky allowed (of course). A ship captains bell has been added to the challenge to solidify your control over the stone but it is not required to receive a coin. Once the stone is shouldered you simply walk over and ring the bell on the post.
