[description] => A new training pit in Temple Quarry, Little Cottonwood Canyon. This sandy, sunny pit is a stone’s throw away from the parking lot. You’ll find here a handful of moderate stones to sharpen your sword, as well as a 313lb stone, and the massive 395lb Kotü Stone. The creek is also full of other stones to play with - making this an excellent place to come work your technique with stones of all different shapes and sizes.\r\n\r\nThe stones are all labeled with their weights (except for the Kotü). Please keep this particular stone tucked under the fir tree and out of sight, because the biggest downside to this spot is its ease of access - so there are usually other people in the area or near you on the trail.
